Alison Siegel is a Brooklyn-based educator, visual artist, and urban gardener whose research-based practice is grounded in experimentation, environmental justice, and community-building. Currently, they are teaching Python fundamentals for Code in Place at Stanford University and assisting with biomaterials workshops at Genspace, a community biotech lab. As an ArtTable Fellow at Black Cube Nomadic Art Museum, Alison developed public arts programming for a site-specific installation in collaboration with local organizations.

Alison works across paper, sculpture, and experimental photography, often incorporating organic materials and the scientific process into their studio practice.  They are currently leading a multi-year ecological art project focused on rewilding their neighborhood through gardening, community workshops, and collaborative environmental data collection.
